T.E.N.A.N.T.: Until it’s Done Right
Author’s Notes: This is set before Gackt’s (and possibly Masa’s as well) entrance. Cha has recently taken over the lead of the 4th and he’s a hard task master. You, the Automaton disturbs him due to his obvious resemblance to the man he grew attached to as a boy. At this point, he wants nothing more than to get rid of him.
“Sir, we cannot continue at this pace.”
“We’ll continue as long as it takes for the squad to do it right,” Cha snapped back shooting a glare over his shoulder at the Automaton.
“I need to recharge.”
He stopped at this. “What?”
“My system is overheating. I must recharge before serious damage is done and I will need to be repaired.”
The lieutenant’s jaw clenched. Between gritted teeth he hissed, “Then go plug yourself into a wall socket.” He turned and headed down the hallway. “We will resume the drills in thirty minutes.”
You stopped in his pursuit and looked down at his hands in what he would later come to call confusion. “But Sir,” he began, quickly catching up to the other man, “I do not think I will fit in the holes.”
